The Super Soaker is the mother of all cloth pads! It is the largest pad that I offer and is perfect for the heavy flow days of your period or at night.
This pad is just under 11” long and 3” wide when snapped around your panties. It has extra wide areas at the front and back for better protection. The extra protection area is wider in the back, because let’s face it, we’re wider in the back. The back protection area measures 5” and the front measures 4”. The PUL-waterproof layer-covers the entire area of the pad, including the wings and the extra protection areas.
This pad contains a total of 7 layers for maximum absorbency. Here they are starting from the top to the bottom:
1 layer of 100% cotton flannel
2 layers of absorbent cotton batting
2 more layer of 100% cotton flannel
1 waterproof layer – PUL
1 final layer of 100% cotton flannel
The quilted/topstitched channels help with absorbency and make the pads less bulky. The channels are only sewn through the top layers of the channels and not through the water proof layer.
The wings snap together with poly resin snaps installed with my industrial snap press.
All of my pads are hand-made by me and are made with fabrics that have been pre-washed and pre-shrunk before being sewn together.
